PCB Editor – Interactive Online Tool for Component Placement and Board Layout

Our online PCB Editor is a free, browser-based tool that allows PCB designers, hobbyists, and electronics engineers to place components, arrange layouts, and visualize printed circuit boards directly in their web browser. No installation required – everything runs inside your WordPress site with full Elementor integration.

Key Features

  • Drag-and-Drop Component Placement – Quickly position resistors, capacitors, IC packages, and other PCB components on your board.

  • Live Canvas Interaction – Move, rotate, and align components with precise snapping for accurate PCB layout visualization.

  • Customizable Board Size – Define your PCB dimensions in millimeters for accurate scale representation.

  • SVG Component Library – Includes scalable vector graphics (SVG) for realistic component rendering without pixelation.

  • Real-Time Adjustments – Instantly see how your layout changes affect spacing and board arrangement.

  • Cross-Platform – Works in any modern browser, including Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

  • Responsive Layout – Optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.

How to Use the PCB Editor

  1. Select a Component from the dropdown menu on the left sidebar.

  2. Click “Add” to place it on the PCB canvas.

  3. Drag to Move the component or Rotate using the control handle (rotation locked to 45° increments for precision).

  4. Set Your Board Size by entering width and height in millimeters.

  5. Arrange Your Layout and experiment with different configurations.

  6. Export your design (if enabled) for further use in professional EDA software like Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, or KiCad.

Who Is This For?

This tool is ideal for:

  • PCB Designers creating quick concept layouts before moving into CAD software.

  • Electronics Hobbyists planning component placement for prototypes.

  • Educational Purposes to teach PCB design basics interactively.

Why Use Our PCB Editor?

Unlike static PCB images, our interactive tool gives you hands-on control over your component placement. It’s fast, intuitive, and works directly in your browser without plugins or extra software.
Whether you’re planning a high-speed digital circuit, RF layout, or a simple hobby PCB, this editor helps you visualize and refine your ideas before manufacturing.
